LIGHT & SOUND INSTALLATION

Get ready for this international premiere, accompanied by an exclusive live performance at the intersection of light, visuals, and sound.

CONCEPT

Step into **hex/A**, where sound, light, lasers and visuals collide into an immersive experience. Drawing on collective imagination through its retrofuturistic dimension, the work evokes the past, present, and future as a single, timeless symbol.

Long before its invention in 1960 by Theodore Maiman, the laser already existed in the public imagination through science fiction. Authors like H.G. Wells envisioned powerful beams of light, such as the “heat ray” in The War of the Worlds (1898), that foreshadowed modern lasers as ultimate weapons.

This fantasy, deeply rooted in early 20th-century popular culture, ignited fascination when lasers became a reality, turning myth into science. Artistic visions prior to the 1960s helped shape a retrofuturistic image of the laser, both nostalgic and forward-looking.
