Course description:
Learn about the new tools Ableton has brought to the table over the past year. With so many new developments, not least of all Push 3 and Ableton Live 12, Ableton Note and more it’s easy to overlook some of the incredible new ways we can make music.
If you’re new to music making this workshop will also provide you with an insight into the Ableton workflow and ever expanding ecosystem.

Mark Burnett lives and breathes electronic music. As an artist, he has worked with many labels and performed as a DJ and live act at events across the globe. As a teacher, he has been at the helm of a lot of music education projects, brining a wealth of experience to the table from working with a diverse selection of artists, both aspiring and professional.
With an unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity and fostering connections within the music community, Mark has cultivated an environment where experimentation thrives.

Based in Plagwitz, Leipzig it is home ot the Future Fabrik Academy, The Live Lab, Leipzig Electronic Music Academy and also a research and development centre for AI technologies.

Ableton offers creative tools and resources to the global community of music makers to create and produce music and perform live. These tools include software and hardware including Live, a software that combines traditional studio technologies with the freedom to work without a timeline; Push a hardware tool for playing and composing with Live; Link, a technology that allows multiple devices to play in time together via a wireless connection; and Notes. Platforms such as Loop, Learning Music and Learning Synths also allow musical ideas to be shared and explored.
