An old power station shut down and abandoned in 1992.

The Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig came back to life after 24 years, becoming the first venue for immersive digital art installations in Germany.

54 high-performance projectors, an IT cluster with 16 computer-servers and a sound system with 30 speakers offer a futuristic and immersive approach, making it a stunning modern exhibition.

All in all, 3.600 square meters of wall and floor space are covered in art at the Kunstkraftwerk.

Through a multi-sensory experience, the museum is able to capture young audiences and appeal to people who don’t visit museums regularly.
