With 20 years of career completed in 2021, Stefano Fake is a pioneer and one of the main creators of the “immersive digital art experience”, ie those audiovisual installations that aim to immerse the viewer inside the work of art itself, through digital technologies and monumental video projections. The experiences designed and created by STEFANO FAKE & THE FAKE FACTORY have helped to define the format, the language and the success of the immersive digital exhibitions, thanks to an unprecedented media exposure and a series of attendance records in Italian and international museums. . Many of The Fake Factory’s installations have become milestones of contemporary immersive digital art: CARAVAGGIO EXPERIENCE (Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, 2016, over 75,000 visitors – Venaria Reale Turin, 2017, over 135,000 visitors – Munal Mexico City, 2018, over 146 thousand visitors); KLIMT EXPERIENCE (over 400 thousand visitors in total between Florence, Milan, the Royal Palace of Caserta, Naples, Rome, Shanghai); MAGRITTE EXPERIENCE (over 300,000 visitors in Florence, Milan, Seoul) and the recent VAN GOGH EXPERIENCE with which EMOTIONHALL Gorizia was inaugurated, the first Italian exhibition center dedicated to immersive digital arts and BACH EXPERIENCE at KUNSTKRAFTWERK in Leipzig.
